NPPA 16th IHI Ceremony

Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA) is pleased to announce the preparation of 16th IHI ceremony, which will be performed on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the following venue/address:

Hare Krishna Temple 10310 Oaklyn Drive Potomac, MD 20854

IHI is the most inevitable ritual ceremony in Newah community to retreat Newah girls at the age of 5-11 years. IHI stands for a certain time and age. NPPA is delighted to reiterate that non-Newah Kanyas have participated in previous year’s IHI ceremonies and NPPA would like to renew the gratitude to them. NPPA welcomes such diversified participation in the future with open heart.
