Coronavirus Relief Effort In Nepal
Please help the people in need
Thanks to the partnership with Nepal Pasa Pucha Amerikaye – NPPA, volunteers at Bridges of Kindness have been able to deliver thousands of dollars worth of food, clothing, educational materials, and computer equipment to orphanages, schools, and hostels for the elderly and disabled in Nepal. Most of these organizations are entirely dependent on private contributions. Now, because of the Coronavirus outbreak, and the subsequent lock-down some of the centers we work with are struggling financially.

Many have had problems even getting to markets to procure materials. In the past few weeks, working with volunteers on the ground, we helped supply food, cooking gas and household supplies for six centers. Some of the children had not had anything but rice and lentils for weeks, and they were overjoyed to see fruit and vegetables. However, we need your help to continue. This is completely a volunteer effort, and as in the past, all funds collected will go directly to those in need. There are no salaries, or deducted personal expenses, and all Bridges of Kindness transactions are reviewed to assure financial transparency. Additionally, because of the partnership with NPPA, your contribution is also tax deductible. So, please consider giving. Your donation large or small, will help build the Bridges of Kindness that connects us all. Thank you. Be well and be safe.
